No trip to Paris would be complete without a day at the Louvre. We spent the day enjoying the great art works and marvelling at the artists making copies of the works.

The Intervention of the Sabine Women by Jacques-Louis David (1748-1825). This a very large painting with great detail.

The Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) is smaller than expected and hard to photograph through layers of bullet proof glass.
